This car has been in my family since 1984, always in Texas. If you buy it, you will be getting several thumbs up a week and almost every time you get gas someone will try and strike up a conversation. It is very rare. There were 11853 conververtible mustangs in 1973. Compare that to 373,123 1965 mustang coupes and you get an idea how rare.
