I looked for a true Baja Champion and found this one locally. It was repainted, not all that well, and the engine should be rebuilt. Interior is also rough. It does have potential and they only made 1000 of these to commemorate VWs success in off road and also surpassing the model T in production numbers. It has the hard to find original wheels, the glove box Baja Champion commemorative plate. So, it would be cool to restore her and I truly wish I had that time. I bought her to restore but WOW d...
