1969 AMC AMX - born a 290, 4 speed - car currently has a 401 with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake, Demon carburetor, Tremec 5 speed, electronic ignition, aluminum radiator, electric fan, aftermarket dash gauges, Kenwood stereo system, aftermarket seats (no idea of brand or from what), heavy sway bars, etc. Car runs, drives, and stops - a little cold blooded, perhaps the carb needs adjustment or time for a kit - bodywork was done and car painted in 2002 so the paint is tired - plenty of chips...
